Hello, I'm Jim Korducki, owner and creator of Ducktail Lures.
Ducktail Lures are made in Merrill, Wisconsin, the gateway to "Wisconsin's Musky Contry". These lures have been designed for "musky fanatics" who want to get the most out of their time on the water! I have been crafting my own fishing lures since age 9. Along the way, as I grew as an angler, I got inot musky fishing and subsequently began making my own musky lures.
Over the years I have refined and improved my baits, seeking to make them better than the lures currently available. I also began to make lures which provided features not currently available in other baits, primarily lures that are virtually weedless yet excellent hooking baits. While I feel we have done this in our current line of lures, we will not rest.
We will continue to field test, and refine our current lures and develop new offerings. We are currently working on a jerkbait, several topwater baits and musky jigs and plastics. The new lures, which we've been testing and refinding for 2-3 years, will not be marketed until we feel they are the best, and fill a need in the market!
